A. Global Love will match up and send you the most compatible people so you don't have to spend hours searching through millions of members. Of course we also allow you to browse member profiles by your chosen parameters so you have ultimate control over how you use the site.
Q. Does it cost money to contact other Members?
A. Global Love has a unique method of Member communication, you can send Free "Ice Breakers" which let you pick a pre-defined message to initiate communication with another Member. If you wish to communicate beyond "Ice Breakers" you must become Love Linked. Once Love Linked you will be able to send unlimited messages or live chats with that member and vica versa.
Q. How much does being Love Linked cost?

Q. What is Call Me Now?
A. Call Me Now allows you to call other members via the phone privately and safely.
Q. Are my contact details secure?
A. Your real details are kept secure and are not available to other users at any time.
Q. Is my real name used?
A. No, you will go by your screen name which you choose when you register. Your real name is not given out under any circumstances unless YOU decide to pass on to someone.
Becoming a Member
Q. How do I join?
A. Click on the Join Now button on the home page and complete the questionnaire. Once submitted your compatability profile will be created and you will be sent the best matching mates.
Q. What does my membership include?
A. Personality profiling, advanced compatability search and instant communications. Access to our Loveology information and the Dating Panel blog.
Q. How much does membership cost? Is there any catch?
A. Basic Membership is free and allows you to have a profile and post photos of yourself for others to see.
Q. Can I cancel my membership at any time?
A. There is no obligation to remain a member and you can cancel your membership anytime. Once deleted your profile will no longer appear anywhere is our network.
Q. If I prefer not to use my credit card online or I don't have one how I can still use Global Love.

Q. What personal information do other members have access to?
A. Other members may view your profile and photos.
Q. Are members screened by Global Love for authenticity?
A. All new member applications, profiles and photos are screened for any inappropriate or suspicious content. New members must supply a real and valid e-mail address. Members profiles are randomly checked for any changes which may also fall under questionable behaviour.
Membership Payments
Q. What are the paid services?
A. Global Love allows members to purchase Credits which they can spend on the site to communicate with other members.
Q. What credit cards do you accept?
A. Visa, Mastercard and Bankcard.
Q. What other forms of payment do you accept?
A. PayPal.
Q. Is it safe to supply my credit card details?
A. Yes, the Billing area is secured with SSL 128-bit or higher encryption.
Q. What if my payment gets declined?
A. Please check with your bank and if you still have a problem please contact us immediately.
Q. Do I get a receipt for payment and what date does it get deducted?
A. When you successfully make a payment a receipt is sent to you via email.
Q. Do you accept credit card payment by phone?
A. For security reasons we do not accept payment over the phone.
Deleting Your Membership
Q. I don't want to be member anymore, what do I do?
A. You can de-activate your account which keeps it in our systems but stops it from showing up in other members search results, this is good for putting things on non permanent hold. You can also delete your account which will remove the account completely and you will no longer be able to login.
Q. What if I cancelled my membership and then changed my mind?
A. If you accidentally delete your account please contact support via the website contact form.
Q. Can I suspend my membership for a short time?
A. Of course, if for any reason e.g traveling, you don't want to be active simply de-activate your account from the My Profile area.
Q. What happens to my information once I've been deleted?
A. Your profile will no longer show up on the website and we will cease to send you emails.
Q. I've been deleted, what happened?
A. The only reason a member is deleted is if our terms and conditions have been violated. If you have used any profanity, uploaded any nude or questionable photos, harassed another member or anything not considered generally respectable you may have been deleted. If you wish to appeal this decision contact support on the website contact form.
Loggin In
Q. I can't remember my password, what do I do?
A. Just click the "Forget your password?" link under the login box on the home page. Enter the email address you used to signup with and an email will be sent assisting you to recover your password.
Q. Do I need to have cookies enabled in my browser to log onto the site?
A. Yes, cookies are necessary for operation of our website.
Q. How long can I stay logged on?
A. As long as you like but if there has been no activity for a long period of time you will automatically be logged out.
Updating Your Profile
Q. How do I update my profile?
A. Log in and go into "My Profile" option on the menu. Make your changes and then click the submit button at the bottom of the page.
Adding Photos to Your Profile
Q. How do I upload photo's onto my profile?
A. Log in and go into the "My Profile" section. Click the "Change" button under the existing profile photo (which might say "No Pic" if you don't currently have a profile photo).
Q. Is it necessary to have photos attached to my profile?
A. Our research indicates your chances of being contacted are exceptionally higher if you have at least one photo but it's not a membership requirement.
Q. What format and what size do my photos have to be to upload?
A. No more than 2 megabytes per photo and in JPG format. Please try and upload photos of at least 800 pixels wide so that users can view larger versions of your photos.
Q. What if don't know how to change the size and format of my photo?
A. If you don't know how to do this you can take your photos on disc or memory to most Photocopy or Camera stores and they will be able to change the size and format and store them onto a new disc or memory for you so you can save them on your computer at home and upload to your profile.
Q. I don't have digital photos, what can I do?
A. We recommend you take your photos to a Camera store and have them scan them and provide you with digital copies.
Q. How do I delete a Gallery photo?
A. Go into "My Profile" and scroll down to Gallery and click the "Change" button, choose an image and click delete.
Q. Which photo is used for my listing photo?
A. What ever photo you upload in the Profile Photo area will be the photo shown on your listing.
Q. How many times can I change my photos?
A. As often as you like.
Sending and Receiving Emails
Q. How do I send another Member an Ice Breaker?
A. Go to the users profile and click "Send Ice Breaker".
Q. How do I send another Member a Message?
A. Go to the users profile and click "Send a Message". If you are not yet Love Linked to this user, you will be asked if you wish to spend the Credits required to open up messaging. If you do not have sufficient Credits you will be guided to the Billing section of the website where you can top up your Credits.
Q. How do I respond to someone who sent me an email?
A. Click on the "Reply" button at the bottom of the message to reply.
Q. I have received a spamming email, what do I do?
A. Please notify us immediately by clicking on the "Report Abuse" buttons located on messages and profiles.
Q. I accidentally deleted an email message, what do I do?
A. Unfortunately once deleted it cannot be recovered.
Q. Is there any limit to how many messages I can send?
A. You can send 3 Free "Ice Breakers" per day. For users you are Love Linked to you can send as many messages or chat messages as you wish.
Q. How will another member know if I emailed them?
A. They will receive an email to their real email address to notify them of incoming LoveMail.
Q. How do I get the real email address of another member?
A. Under no circumstances is this information given.
Q. Can I give someone my real email address?
A. We strongly advise you don't until your absolutely sure you know who you are corresponding with but it is up to your own discretion.
Q. Are my emails read by anyone else?
A. Emails will only be read if a member reports them to staff as Abusive.
Q. How do I get someone I don't wish to speak with to stop emailing me?
A. Simply block the member and you should no longer recieve anything from them ever again.
Q. What if someone doesn't respond to my email?
A. There can be a myriad of reasons why a member may not respond to your message. Just remember not to take it personally as its completely their choice to respond or not.
Security and Privacy
Q. Is this website secure and safe?
A. Yes, technologically the website is safe. The only privacy issues that may arise will be as a result of information you willingly divulge to other members during messages or chats. Please exercise caution and care when giving our personal information. For the safety of our members we recommend you never give out real full names and street addresses, and NEVER give out Credit Card or financial information.
Q. Will my information be used to send me junk mail?
A. We will not pass on your email address to anyone else, and we will only email you regarding Global Love information and updates.
Q. I use my computer at work or in a internet cafe, is it safe?
A. You are safe as long as you ensure you log out properly by clicking the log out button at the top of the page.
